Seminar Topics

This year’s seminar is entitled, The Path Forward: How COVID-19 Has Reshaped the Economy. We will examine the path forward, after the hurdles and challenges COVID-19 has presented to Montana’s communities, businesses, real estate, health care, schools, and other industries. National and statewide economic outlooks will be presented by Patrick Barkey, director of the Bureau of Business and Economic Research. This year we will have a keynote town hall presented by Edward Glasser of Harvard University, whose work focuses on determinants of city growth. There will also be a discussion on the U.S. economy with Neel Kashkari of the Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis.
